Adam David Brown is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. His work is guided by the principle of “less is more,” and is frequently generated by his interest in science, language, and the passage of time. He works in a variety of media including sculpture, installation, drawings, and book-works. He devises projects that invite meditations on the mathematical and physical abstractions that structure and underlie our everyday experience. Brown has exhibited work in Canada, Europe, Central America, and the United States. His work has been featured in exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario, The Power Plant, The Koffler Centre of the Arts, and Nuit Blanche.
