Nicolas Fleming’s work relies on construction materials and building techniques developed from daily work, adapting construction site aesthetics to art-dedicated contexts. Fleming received his BFA at Concordia University and MFA at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He has presented solo exhibitions in Canada at Centre Clark (Montréal), Bunker 2, L'Œil de Poisson (Québec), TYPOLOGY Projects, Maison des Arts de Laval, Galerie Trois Points (Montréal), AXENÉO7 (Gatineau), McClure Gallery (Montréal), and UQAM Gallery. His large-scale sculptural works have been exhibited at ISE Cultural Foundation (New York), Aires Libres Festival (Montreal) and Truck Stop (Sainte-Eulalie). In 2017, Fleming attended the Rupert Residency (Lithuania).
