Mark Clintberg’s work responds to archives, architectures and antecedent practices through writing, textiles, installation, sculpture and artist’s multiples. Collections holding Clintberg’s work include the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa); the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (Montreal); and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (Edmonton). He has completed residencies at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and Walk & Talk Azores. He teaches at the Alberta University of the Arts. In 2013, Clintberg was shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award.
