Mike Goldby’s recent photographic series, Silver 35, often depicting pedestrians navigating urban space, captures moments of creative intervention and myriad micro-gestures easily lost within everyday late-capitalist infrastructure. Framed behind a highly reflective glass, the viewer is encouraged to consider how their body relates to the bodies in the images. Goldby received his BFA from OCAD University in 2013, and was the recipient of the 2013 Medal for Integrated Media. He has had local and international exhibitions including at Sibling (Toronto)  Mon Cheri (Brussels) and Tomorrow (New York). Recent group exhibitions include The Island (2017), curated by Connor Olthius and Caleb Dunham and Chroma Lives (2016), curated by Erin Freedman and Lili Huston-Herterich. Goldby lives and works in Toronto.
