Celia Perrin Sidarous works within the conventions of still life and display to assemble and arrange objects following a logic that is at once internal and associative. Her photographs invite viewers into the space and physical presence of inanimate objects. Sidarous’ work has been shown widely in solo and group exhibitions across Canada. More recently she was featured in the Biennale de Montréal 2016. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, and was long-listed for the 2015 AIMIA | AGO Photography Prize. Her works are in private and public collections, including the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.
