Chris Curreri works with film, photography and sculpture. His work is premised on the idea that things in the world are not defined by essential properties, but rather by the relationships we establish with them. His recent exhibitions include the 2017 Canadian Biennial (Ottawa); Daniel Faria Gallery (Toronto/Berlin); La Biennale de Montréal 2016; Scrap Metal Gallery; Central China International Ceramics Biennale (Zhengzhou, China); Gardiner Museum; Art Gallery of Ontario; Witte de With (Rotterdam); and castillo/corrales (Paris). His films have been screened at international film festivals in Japan, Argentina and Toronto. He holds an MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts at Bard College.
