Tristram Landsdowne’s practice focuses on the utopian current running through art history. Drawing from disparate systems and eras of visual organization, his work explores the desire for control over one’s environment. Landsdowne holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. His work, which has been exhibited across North America and the UK, was most recently shown at CES Gallery (Los Angeles) and Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. Lansdowne’s work can be found in various public collections including the National Gallery of Canada. He is based in Toronto.
