Jim Verburg is a Dutch/Canadian currently based in Toronto. Notable solo projects and exhibitions include Whatever Form This Moment Takes, Galerie Nicolas Robert (Montréal), A Certain Silence at Zalucky Contemporary (Toronto) and One and Two at Galerie B-312 (Montréal) which received the   2011 Mois de la Photo Dazibao Prize. Group exhibitions include the Power Plant (Toronto), Luciana Caravello (Rio de Janeiro) and Cydonia Gallery (Dallas). His film For a Relationship won the 2008 Jury Prize for the Best Canadian Short Film at Inside Out Film Festival (Toronto) and was nominated for the Iris Prize (UK). In 2017, Verburg was a recipient of the Chalmers Arts Fellowship. Verburg’s work appears in several private and corporate collections.
